Just to let you all know where we're at. After our meeting I checked out a couple of school venues, the hire costs were quite high, Anthony Roper will not let you use the building, so no toilets, parking limited. Wilmington School, similar hire costs, no food preparation or food sales allowed. Princes Park and Bite Me catering, are letting us use the bar area as registration. They have not asked for money up front, we may have to cover the costs of a couple of staff, for 2 hours, they hope to make their money from sales. So we have gone back to this option. I have planned the routes now, so we will need a few volunteers on the day for registration and helping out at the start and finish.
